The Courage Classic Chronicles: The Final Day

Saturday, March 4, 2017Pablo

Today we returned to Leadville where it all started. On our way there was a big, long and steep obstacle, Freemont Pass. To make it more challenging I got sick and spent a pretty bad night with a sore throat and a bad cough. Bad enough that Alicia suggested that not riding today was an option, but even she knew that was not really true ...

The Courage Classic Chronicles: The Family Ride

Tuesday, November 11, 2014Pablo

Today it was a much easier day. It was only a 35-mile round trip between Copper Mt and Breckenridge. I wore Alex’ Angels team jersey and Triana sported the official Alex’ Angels tattoo. Even mamá joined us on a borrowed bike (thanks Alejandro for letting us use your bike) and the Calderon-Seivers family had a very pleasant ride together.

The Courage Classic Chronicles: The First Day

Sunday, August 1, 2010Pablo

Summer is for riding

Monday, September 24, 2018Pablo

Since our return from Spain Triana and I have collectively taken on a new sport, cycling. It was new for her obviously, but not for me. Long gone are the days when I used to train for hours day-in day-out so I would be ready to compete in the Colorado hill climb races and half-ironman duathlons. But while the racing days are gone for now ...

El verano es para las bicicletas

Sunday, May 1, 2016Pablo
